Launching Ethical Literacy®

Developing cultures of integrity: Positive change processes take hard work, perseverance and support. The Ethical Literacy® model encourages schools’ serious investment in ethics by providing consistent feedback of progress made and support in deciding next steps.

Ethical Literacy® builds on IGE’s proven conceptual framework for developing ethical decision making skills. This framework develops awareness about why ethics matters and alerts individuals to the many ways that ethics and values play a role in current events, in work and in personal health and choice making.

The Ethical Literacy® Approach: The EL curriculum is never static. Along with the knowledge each school gains from other participating EL schools, IGE’s research partnerships with national and international education associations fuel our activity with EL schools.
