Privacy Statement
We at the Institute for Global Ethics have a firm commitment to the privacy of both our Web site visitors and our non-Web customers--as well as of our members. The Institute never rents or sells member or customer information of any sort, either from email, "snail mail," or any other source.
Security
Online ordering, giving, and membership applications and renewals are secure, although you have the option of printing out these forms and mailing them, or calling us. We use financial information only for the financial transactions initiated by you. We do use "cookies," but only to allow you to leave the ordering area of our Web site to visit other pages, without having to enter the information over again. Cookies expire once the orders are finalized.
Web Statistics/Guest Book
We do check our Web statistics. They include no personal information, however, and are used to see how many people visit our site, how long they stay, which pages they are most intersted in, etc. We do this to see how we're doing, and to find out what our visitors are most interested in so we can include more of that sort of information or that type of experience. And the information you give us in our Guest Book is used only internally. (We greatly value your feedback!)
We do not send spam. We do offer an online email subscription, and plan to offer more in the future. Each issue contains an easy way to "opt out" of receiving it. Members will occasionally get announcements from us via email. If you never want to receive email from us, you can let us know now by emailing us at .

Our Web sites contain links to other sites. Although we review these sites before linking to them, we cannot vouch for their privacy practices, or any objectionable content that we might have missed or that might have been added later. We offer these links as a service to our visitors.
