As the Chinese government faces increasing difficulties in wholly blocking information and coverage from the outside world, it is using videos, terminology, and propaganda to cast its opponents as attackers of the Chinese people, note observers like Anti, “a well-known Chinese blogger on a Nieman fellowship this year at Harvard,” according to the Times.
